How does the Run Store shoe finder work?

You answer up to 11 short questions: who the shoe is for, surface, goal, distance, pace, plate, feel, how you land, waterproofing, foot width and brand. The finder compares more than 50 running shoe models with brand specs and independent lab data (weight, drop, stack height, energy return and inner width) and shows your best match plus more matches, each with the reasons why it fits.

What is a super shoe?

A super shoe has a super foam midsole: very light, soft and springy foam, mostly PEBA based like Nike ZoomX, On Helion HF or Adidas Lightstrike Pro. It returns about 70 % or more of your energy, normal foam about 55 to 65 %. Many super shoes also have a carbon plate, some don't. The finder counts a shoe as a super shoe if the brand uses a known super foam or the independent RunRepeat lab measured at least 72 % energy return.

Which brands does the shoe finder include?

Does it show if my size is in stock?

Yes. Enter your foot length and the finder recommends your size from the brand's size chart and shows live stock in our shop and store.

Can I try the shoes in Zürich?

Yes. Every shoe in the finder is in our store at Niederdorfstrasse 20, 8001 Zürich, open Monday to Friday 11:00 to 19:00 and Saturday 10:00 to 18:00.
